April’s shaping up to be a great month. The solar report is coming out.
I believe it will profoundly change the way you think about producing solar power at home. Not only does it radically improve your resilience, I can’t find an investment that beats it (stocks, bonds, gold… all fall short).
Anyway, here’s what I found interesting this week. Enjoy.
FarmedHere. An indoor high yield farm in Chicago that grows organic arugula, basil, and makes a sweet basil vinaigrette. They reuse an amazing 97% of their fresh water. The farm is particularly interesting because they don’t ship more than a few miles.
How to build a gutterless rain barrel. They dubbed this the “drain barrel” but if you don’t have a gutter system, it’s an interesting DIY rain harvesting project.
How to quickly grow your own lemongrass. It’s very simple to take the lemongrass you buy at the store and grow a new batch in a jar of water. Shaheen shows us how.
Resiliently Yours,
